One of the first things I discovered while being a Brazilian Portuguese Tutor Online is that the sound of ão does not exist in other languages. This way, I discovered an effective way to teach my students how to pronounce this sound! My way of doing is writing and saying along how the sound is pronounced in words, so for example:
